ABOUT ABOUT

The first-hand story from a heroic Benghazi survivor, in person and in Wimberley!

Kris (Tanto) Paronto is a surviving member of the contract security team guarding and protecting U.S. personnel and assets in Benghazi when terrorists attacked the Amercan Embassy. He and his team then fought off a second attack from the CIA Annex for over 13 hours. They saved over 20 lives but unfortunately four of his team were lost along with the American Ambassador, Chris Stephens. Coming to Wimberley in October, he will tell his story. He not only has answers to questions about what happened the night of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya, he is an American hero and a highly popular speaker. His speaking style is inspirational, patriotic and factual. He is also a co-author of “13 Hours in Benghazi,” along with author Michael Zuckoff and four of Kris’ teammates. Many have seen him on numerous news and talk shows where he and his surviving team members shared their experiences on that fateful night. Kris is a former Army Ranger from 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment and private security contractor who has deployed throughout South America, Central America, the Middle East and North Africa. He also worked with the US Government’s Global Response Staff conducting low profile security in high threat environments throughout the world.
