The classic musical favorite that tells the story of seven backwoodsmen in 1850’s Oregon
territory who are looking for wives! When Millie marries the oldest brother, Adam, she
discovers he has six brothers and she is expected to cook and clean for the whole gang.
She manages to civilize them enough to attract the local girls but a fight ensues at the
town social. The brothers simply kidnap the girls but forget to bring the preacher! Hilarity
along with wonderful songs and high energy dance and gymnastics make it a great
show for the ages. Songs such as “Bless Your Beautiful Hide,” “Goin Courtin,” “Sobbin
Women” and the famous “Barn Dance” are just a few of the captivating moments that
leave audiences humming as they leave the theatre.
